It’s quite cold and gloomy in Dallas this holiday weekend, but looking back at the entire 2017, the year has been nothing short of non-stop excitment and a fun, entertaining mix of great video projects. From travelling to New Jersey to shoot a corporate interview, Austin to film a Bar Mitzvah and gathering aerial drone footage all across the globe, we can’t wait to see what 2018 has in store for Elixir!
We shot so many amazing weddings this year, I wanted to showcase this recent highlight clip from the Four Seasons in Las Colinas in early December.
Wishing you all a very happy and healthy new year! We’re looking forward to shooting our final 2017 wedding this wknd – and it’s going to be a special one for sure! Stay tuned for highlights from Wyatt + Nicole!
We’ve been busy flying our new DJI Phantom 4 this past year and have been lucky enough to take it on travels to France, Key West, Lake Tahoe, Colorado and more! It’s a great tool to use in your corporate production, real estate promo, school event, wedding or more…

It’s surreal to look back upon the beginning of Elixir Entertainment, way back in 2004! I believe the very first project I produced for a paying client was a birthday photo montage for $100 🙂 Along with prices going up a bit, I’d like to think the quality of work has improved over the years. Please take time and check out the Elixir Vimeo page for some of our work thru the years…
I got a little sentimental yesterday when I took the first Elixir video camera to the electronics recycler and said farewell…
So many great weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, school productions, and more were captured by this trusty Sony camera!
2017 has been amazing so far and looks to be another solid year ahead! Our core wedding season begins this weekend and typically goes thru the fall, when we start back with school projects and mitzvahs again. Check our our Elixir Video Instagram page for fun images from these and other random corporate projects we’re producing.
Looking forward to what the future holds! Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone!
As most of you know, Elixir Entertainment specializes in producing memorable videos for events, school productions and other family-related celebrations. However, our other branch Elixir Video, works on strictly corporate projects. This means business promos, training videos, real estate sales clips, product demos and more. Take a moment to check out a new “Who We Are” video about Kelli’s Gifts, based in Addison.
It was quite the ending to 2016 as we journeyed down to the gorgeous beaches of Costa Rica to film a memorable destination wedding for Kevin and Heather! Flying the drone past the bride and groom during sunset will be a shot I don’t forget for a long time! Congratulations to the newlyweds and I hope you all enjoy the video!
Very excited to now be able to offer aerial shots to our Elixir projects! With a brand new DJI Phantom 4 drone, we can enhance the look of your wedding, performance, corporate promo, real estate venture and more! The footage is recorded in amazing 4K and can easily mesh with what we shoot on the ground, to create a perfect video for whatever you might be needing.
In Dallas, our Elixir season slows down mid-July thru Labor Day, so it’s time for a little sabbatical and I’m heading overseas for a little adventure thru Greece! Pics & videos coming soon of course!
In the meantime, it’s been quite busy and exciting around here! Lots of great weddings and corporate projects recently – – check out a brand new A LOOK BACK clip from Jess + Alex’s wedding weekend :
Really proud. Really happy. Really thankful.
Looking forward to the next decade of Elixir and what the future holds…
Just so lucky to have such great clients here at Elixir. It’s almost spring and we’re in the midst of Bar and Bat Mitzvah season. In 2016 we have already been a part of some really great events and just wanted to say THANK YOU.
If your son or daughter has a mitzvah coming up – we do book pretty far in advance, but Elixir can take care of all the video needs, from a montage to coverage of the service and party – as well as a slow-mo video booth and webcasting! See elixir.net for more info.
Mazel tov y’all!
For a few years now I’ve been really wanting to secretly film someone’s wedding proposal. Well yesterday, Thanksgiving, in the rain, I had the special opportunity to film Kyle proposing to Samantha, at the same spot his father had proposed many years ago.
Kyle & Sam had been dating for five years and she was pretty surprised to be dropped off at a random park in Carrollton in the rain. Check out what happened..
