It’s been an extremely rainy and grey May so far, but summer season at Elixir is looking anything but gloomy! So excited to have completed a record spring with some outstanding events, including 4 different high school drill team revues, birthday parties, bar mitzvahs and school recitals! We’re heading to Florida FOUR times in 2015 for business trips – including two beach weddings!
On the corporate side of things, Elixir Video is heading to Bangor, Maine to continue working on our medical aviation promo for 7Bar. Can’t wait to fly in a chopper over the gorgeous Arcadia National Park! Several other promo videos are in the works, including one for Joe Funk Construction.
PS – We’re still looking to secretly film a wedding proposal. This can be done FREE of charge! Imagine how cool that footage would be 🙂 Any interested guys out there, please call or email for info..
It’s exciting to look ahead to what the next 12 months might bring for Elixir and our clients!
We have many mitzvahs and wedding weekends already booked, including a trip to Florida for a destination event! In a couple weeks, we return to the Four Seasons at Las Colinas for the 2nd of two sisters’ weddings, which will likely be just as memorable and emotional as the first! Following that up is a trip to Israel, where the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas has hired me to produce a promotional highlight clip of the mission trip to Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
Other fun projects already lined up are a corporate conference in Orlando, an event photography seminar in Las Vegas, a follow-up to our promotional series for Colleen Rothschild Makeup, and many more great videos that you can view on our Vimeo and Facebook pages once they’re ready 🙂
Here’s a fun image from a vow renewal/NYE celebration from last night at the Belo Mansion in downtown Dallas – –
Have a great year everyone!
Hello everyone – hope you’re having a great fall and staying warm!
Wanted to update you on some exciting projects we’ve been working on lately.
We recently returned from the Four Seasons Punta Mita in Mexico where we shot Nicole & Justin’s amazing wedding over Halloween wknd! Over 125 guests made the journey from Dallas, Chicago and beyond to attend this fun sun-drenched celebration!
Meanwhile back in TX, we’re working with Good Shepherd Episcopal School on a Year in Review project, which allowed us to accompany their third-grade class on a overnight campout in Athens. Got some great shots of the kids cooking smores, hiking and fishing!
Tonight we’re heading to AT&T Stadium for the very first time to film the Plano West Royales as they perform at halftime during the high school football playoffs!
We’re also excited to be the video producer for this Saturday night’s JCC event at Gilley’s in downtown Dallas! Elixir, in addition to shooting the live show, created several video segments that will play before each of the talent competition participants take the stage.
Thanks as always for allowing us to be involved with so many great clients and events!
This past week we shot high above a home during a wedding reception in Highland Park and also captured some great Dallas skyline shots from a drone hovering over Trinity Groves. Ask today how aerial shots can help enhance your video project.
Our sister company, Elixir Video, handles all the corporate video production needs of our clients.
We were recently hired to produce a new promotional video for SevenBar Aviation, a Dallas-based air medical supplier. It was a very interesting project to work on and even enabled us to go up and film from a small plane and helicopter above Dallas & Ft Worth!
Take a moment and check out the results:
This week we’re working with the Tessitura Network on their 2014 conference in Dallas. We produced a special video in advance about the North Texas Arts Districts and how vital they’ve become to both Dallas and Ft. Worth and their surrounding communities.
Take a moment to check out this great new project that premiered on a huge screen at the Meyerson Symphony Hall last night in front of 1500 people…
After a brief recharge in the beautiful mountains of Colorado and the interesting, cultural city of Montreal, we’re back at it and pleasantly surprised at the relatively lower temps in Dallas this summer! Happy to have just signed a promotional project with Good Shepherd Episcopal School, which we’ve already started to work on! They have a very cool campus and some great programs for the kids!
Also in production is a new corporate project for 7Bar Aviation. We recently shot some interviews at their Love Field hanger and had the opportunity to film from both a helicopter and small plane over DFW!
In other news, this week Elixir was hired to shoot a rally for Israel downtown at City Hall where Governor Rick Perry made a passionate plea to support the Israeli efforts. And tomorrow we’re excited to head to the Ft. Worth Modern Museum of Art for a wedding and setup our amazing SLO-MO video booth! Should be a great time!
We’re excited to announce that Dallas A-List voted Elixir best wedding videographer for 2014! Pretty cool 🙂

Last week we had the opportunity to webcast an informative and entertaining live seminar from Lindsay Gremont and Homemademommy.net. As Lindsay discussed essential oils and their relevance to daily life, we simultaneously filmed the discussion in HD while hundreds of people worldwide tuned into the Livestream broadcast to watch and chat with others on the Facebook page.
This same format can be used for all sorts of live events – weddings, bar mitzvahs, school productions, corporate awards, and more.
Working with Lindsay was very cool and we look forward to more of these exciting live projects!
