We here at Elixir always make an effort to stay on top of technology and remain cutting edge. In this regard, we’ve decided to stop offering DVDs and Blurays as part of our event packages. As with VHS, Hi-8 and mini-dv tapes, we see these discs going out of mainstream use in the near future and not being the very best method of preserving your memories. All Elixir projects will be created, edited and given to clients in high-definition digital format – either via the web/dropbox or on a custom flash drive. This is the best way currently to keep your videos the highest quality they can be.
These files can be played via computer and certain AV systems like Apple TV and others. DVDs and Bluray discs can still be created using these files though – if necessary.
